Helloooooo guys !

Welcome you all to this MA Viscomm gradshow blog.

Here are the updates regarding the points discussed during the first meeting along with Paul Slocombe and the MA Viscomm Gradhow committee :

Show Dates

- Work in progress show - 12th june.

- Final show - 13th-15th september.

Location

- Work in progress show - Room 303/304 - MA Viscomm studio.

- Final show - Yet to be finalised. Discussions going on to have it outside the campus in a proper gallery space.

Theme/Brand Ideas

- Call for Brand ideas/themes/concepts for both the shows.

- The whole MA Viscomm group is invited to participate.

- Deadline: 30th April.

- Brand ideas/concepts needs to be presented formally in front of a panel of tutors including

Steven Hunt and Paul Slocombe.

- Consider taking it as a micro project or a visual practice project, specially students of

branding AOP. It could become a vast project starting from Identity, publications, website to signage.

Introductory Lecture on Gradshow

- Presentaion by Paul Slocombe introducing what a show is all about.

- Dry Mounting workshop.

- Date: 22nd April.

Please feel free to share any ideas/thoughts regarding the show.

Lets make it a happening show this year !!

Tuesday Meeting

Hello guys !

Sorry for the late reply. I just got to know about the meeting from Paul.

I would be there for the tuesday meeting. I don't mind chairing the meeting if everyone is ok with that.

I like Tina's idea of meeting a little early to plan our meeting beforehand.

Tuesday, March 23 at 13.00 in the canteen

Hi,

I have arranged a meeting for us with Paul Slocombe regarding the two MA shows.
It's Tuesday, March 23 at 13.30 in the canteen, so I was wondering if we should meet at 13.00 (just before the meeting with Slocombe), to make a list of what we need to do, and assign who's gonna do it, so that the half an hour we've got with Slocombe can be productive.

And we also need to assign someone to be chairing the meetings. Will someone please volunteer?

And Rohit would you post the notes you wrote down from last Mondays meeting?
